Nvidia’s AI-driven sales surge continues despite challenges
Nvidia reported a 94% increase in sales for its fiscal third quarter, reaching $35.1 billion, with profits more than doubling to $19.3 billion. Demand for its next-generation Blackwell AI chips, used by companies like Microsoft, Google, and Meta, has fueled growth, even as the company faces chip supply constraints and rising competition, reports the Journal. Nvidia’s projected revenue for the current quarter is $37.5 billion, surpassing analysts’ forecasts. CEO Jensen Huang described demand for Blackwell chips as “incredible,” noting they will remain in short supply into the next fiscal year.
Despite these strong results, the stock experienced a slight decline in extended trading, likely due to investor expectations and concerns about future growth sustainability.
